In 2010, Safeware entered into a partnership with Spearhead Innovations, to market, sell and distribute a family of instruments utilizing a unique technology. The Spearhead technology uses acoustic signatures to inspect a container for the purposes of detecting, identifying, classifying, confirming or sorting contents, without opening the container or taking a physical sample of the contents. Configurations are available for both portable or table-top use, ideal for field teams or stationary operations.
