Tyvek® 400 garments are composed of flash spun high density polyethylene which creates a unique, nonwoven material available only from DuPont. Tyvek® 400 provides an ideal balance of protection, durability and comfort of any limited use fabric technology. Tyvek® 400 fabric offers an inherent barrier against particles (down to 1.0 micron in size). Protection is built into the fabric itself; there are no films or laminates to abrade or wear away. Tyvek® 400 fabric's durability advantage over microporous film fabrics delivers consistently better barrier, even after wear and abrasion.
Tychem® 10000 exhibits excellent chemical barrier properties and offers an extremely durable fabric that is puncture- and tear-resistant. Tychem® 10000 fabric shows at least 30 minutes of barrier protection to 322 challenge chemicals with no observed breakthrough. Tychem® 10000 is specifically developed for protection against toxic, corrosive gases, liquids and solid chemicals. This high-performance chemical barrier fabric is suited for industrial, HazMat, and domestic preparedness applications.
ProShield® 6 SFR is a lightweight, disposable overgarment designed to help protect and preserve primary flame-resistant garments. It provides a barrier against non-hazardous particles and aerosols while not contributing to burn injury. ProShield® 6 SFR garments won't ignite and continue to burn when exposed to a flame source. They are flame retardant treated, not inherently flame resistant, and are intended to be worn over your primary flame resistant garments.
Designed for periodic air pressure testing on all Level A fully encapsulating suits. Compact and lightweight. Completely self contained. Does not require an external air supply. Input Voltage: 85-264VAC @ 47-63Hz, or 120-370VDC
Tychem® 5000 fabric is composed of a multi-layer film barrier laminated to a durable 2.0 oz/yd2 polypropylene substrate. Tychem® 5000 fabric is strong and durable for rigorous activities and rugged situations involving liquid splash and provides barrier to a broad range of chemicals. Typical Applications: chemical handling, petro-chemical, hazardous materials/waste clean-up, fire departments, industrial hazmat teams, utilities, and domestic preparedness. Commonly used in domestic preparedness for situations where the potential to exposure to chemicals exist.
Tychem® 2000 Tape keeps your personal protective equipment (PPE) in place while providing the same level of chemical resistance as Tychem® 2000 fabric. Helps to hold protective apparel ensemble items in place (e.g., to hold a hood over a facepiece respirator, a sleeve over a glove, a pant leg over a boot, or to keep a closure flap closed)*.
