AEDs are commonly placed in schools, workplaces, industrial facilities, public venues, community buildings, and other locations where fast response to a cardiac emergency can improve survival outcomes.

Both are designed for rapid AED response, but the Philips HeartStart OnSite emphasizes easy use with step-by-step voice guidance, while the ZOLL AED 3 highlights CPR feedback features such as Real CPR Help. Product selection depends on program goals, user profile, and facility needs.
