Made in the USA and designed and built in Indiana, the LD-1 is a lightweight ballistic surround shield for the Polaris Sportsman 850 ATV. While maintaining the ATV’s inherent maneuverability, the LD-1 utilizes NIJ III rated ballistic panels that can stop up to a 7.62x51mm round. It is fully capable in all terrain, both interior and exterior, to offer unprecedented access in spaces where a BearCat or MRAP cannot go. And unrivaled ballistic protection that cannot be accomplished with the motorcycles, bicycles, golf carts, or squad cars currently utilized by law enforcement agencies.

LD-1 Kit Construction
- High tensile laser cut steel exoskeleton treated with industrial grade powdercoat paint (multiple colors available).
- Lightweight ballistic panels and ballistic glass are individually replaceable.
- Modular design for convenient maintenance and part replacement.
- MOLLE panels, T-bar with rear hand straps, and fire suppression.
- Optional accessories: Michelin X Tweels and Door Extensions.

- IJ III/ CEN B-6 capable material (up to 7.62×51 rounds)
